On this page, you can find information about organized tourist activities. All of them can be booked online through our own links to the two largest information sites for tourist activities: Viator (VIA) from Tripadvisor and Get Your Guide (GYG). This way, you can be sure to get the best deal and a secure booking process right away.
Since our own rental and excursion activities are located in the North of the island, we have taken this into account when selecting the activities. However, this doesn't mean that we want to deprive you of fun and interesting activities that are located a bit further away. We always provide the travel time in the activity description, calculated from Villaverde, so you won't be surprised.

At various locations and times, markets are organized. The markets of El Campanario in Corralejo, Lajares, and El Cotillo are artisanal markets where local creators sell their crafts. It's a perfect outing to score some souvenirs.
El Campanario: every Thursday and Sunday from 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM.
Lajares: every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM.
El Cotillo: every Friday from 06:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Cook traditional paella yourself, travel time 25 min.
Each participant cooks their own paella step by step following the instructions of the chef. At our unique location in a green oasis in Fuerteventura, you will learn to choose the best ingredients, from selecting the rice to preparing the perfect broth and creating a delicious paella.

Discover Fuerteventura with the kids
There are plenty of things to do with the whole family. Fuerteventura offers endless beaches, but not all beaches provide safe access to the sea for (young) children. For everyone's safety, we recommend only going into the water in supervised areas or under professional guidance. You can find more general information in the chapter "Discover Fuerteventura: The Beaches." For the little ones, Playa La Concha in El Cotillo and the beaches near the Riu hotels in the Dunas of Corralejo are highly recommended.
In addition, there are a variety of other activities to do with the whole family, which can be found in our other chapters. However, we have two activities that are perfect for kids, and they are:

We offer kitesurf lessons for all levels, with the highest safety standards in mind. The maximum number of students per class is limited to 4. We teach with state-of-the-art equipment, renewed every 6 months: unrestricted safety kites, boards, radio helmets, life jackets, wetsuits, harnesses, and insurance are included in all packages.

Wingskating is a perfect introduction to Wingfoiling or Wingsurfing. On its own, wingskating is very fun and enjoyable. Gunnar has over 20 years of experience instructing action sports and is one of the pioneers of Wingfoiling and Wingskating on the island.
